We are seeking a skilled SQL Database Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data warehouse solutions. This role focuses on optimising ETL pipelines, enhancing data performance, embedding AI/ML capabilities, and collaborating in an agile, innovation-led environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement robust data warehouse solutions
• Deploy and maintain efficient, secure, and scalable systems
• Optimise data models and performance across platforms
• Collaborate within an agile BI and data engineering team
• Leverage AI/ML concepts to enrich warehousing processes

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in ETL development and data warehouse design, deployment, and maintenance
• 5–6 years of technical experience in SQL and data engineering
• 4–5 years of experience in analysis, detail orientation, and digital tech management
• 2–3 years of experience in FMCG/retail or similar industries
• Proficiency in SQL, Azure, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and GitHub
• Experience with large-scale cloud-based data warehouse environments
• Strong data modelling, performance tuning, and optimisation skills

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Microsoft Data Engineer certifications (Design & Implement)
• Hands-on experience with ETL and cloud-based data tools
